Conversational Operating System interface for cross-platform data orchestration.
COS is an experiment in collapsing the app layer. Instead of switching between tools to move, query, and transform data, you converse with a single interface that orchestrates the underlying systems on your behalf — files, databases, calendars, and APIs treated as one addressable surface.
The research question is simple to state and hard to build: can a conversation-first interface beat a GUI for multi-system workflows? COS is our attempt to answer it with a typed, auditable command layer rather than a chatbot bolted onto existing apps.
Every connected source is exposed through one typed schema. Ask across systems without writing integrations.
Each conversational turn compiles to a deterministic, inspectable command plan before it executes. Nothing runs unseen.
Sensitive operations resolve on-device where possible. The cloud is a fallback, not the default.
The beta program opens once multi-source orchestration stabilizes. Follow the build for progress notes — development is public in the journal.
No. Conversation is the input method, but every turn compiles to an inspectable command plan. You approve what runs, and the plan is the contract.
